Meet Karina Duran, MA, MFA
Help Desk Coordinator & Creative Services Specialist
Karina holds a Master of Arts in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Webster University, a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design from Full Sail University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Texas at El Paso.
In her current role, she applies her graphic design expertise to enhance user interactions with digital platforms. Her work includes developing custom infographics, data visualizations for reporting, web interfaces, and various digital media assets. Karina is also highly proficient in creating wireframes, defining color themes, planning, developing, and designing user interfaces, particularly for FileMaker solutions tailored to client-specific data management needs.
Karina contributes to the development of technical assistance resources, including training materials and user support documentation, for the statewide MIECHV Arizona Efforts to Outcomes (AZ ETO) system. She manages Wellington’s help desks, including the state AZ ETO, Parents Commission, TISAPP, and SUBG by offering technical support via phone, text, and email to ensure consistent and responsive user assistance. Karina also leads the agency’s GPRA help desks that support GPRA data collection across multiple programs funded by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) and the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS).
